The Dynamics of Grace Giving

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

Devotional

Scripture: “Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.” 2 Cor. 8:12 NLT

Prayer: Father, as we continue to seek your will about Transforming the Next Generation, we ask that you might release a spirit of generosity broadly throughout our church. And whatever we decide to give, we pray that we can give it cheerfully and willingly. May we hear from you and be eager to give however you lead.

Scripture: “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”  Heb. 13:16 ESV

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you have blessed us to be a blessing so that we might do good. And just like you sacrificed for us to bring blessing, we know that blessing sometimes involves our sacrifice as well. May we be willing to sacrifices under your leading as we endeavor to transform the next generation in our church and city. We love you, Father. Thank you for this opportunity.
