Dr. Rod MacIlvaine
Rod and Cindy moved to Bartlesville in 1995 with their four children to help plant Grace Community Church. He received his B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and his Th.M. and D.Min. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before being involved in local church ministry, Rod served on the staff of Search Ministries, a parachurch organization dedicated to helping those who are far from Christ consider the claims of Christ in creative and non-threatening ways. During his tenure with Search, he was instrumental in co-authoring publications on discipleship and apologetics.
Steve comes to GCC after a career in engineering and law. He graduated from Texas A&M as a chemical engineer in 1984 and from Texas Tech School of Law in 1992. Steve specialized in trial and railroad law. He was a partner in the firm of Germer Gertz, LLP., headquartered in Beaumont, Texas.
Steve graduated with a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2012. His passion is working with professionals to live out their faith at home, in their business and through missions abroad.
Steve and his wife Jeanette have three adult daughters: Jeana, Allison and Annie. After Allison was severely injured in a bus accident, the family became advocates for stronger bus safety laws. The family has been active in musical theater, dance and soccer.
Associate Teaching Pastor
Josh moved to Bartlesville in 2009 to serve as a Professor of Theology at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. In 2013, Josh also joined the Grace Community Church staff in a part-time capacity as the Assistant Teaching Pastor. In this role, Josh assists regularly with the teaching and preaching ministries at GCC.
Josh has B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, an M.A. in Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Manchester, UK.
Josh is married to Brianna and they have two beautiful daughters, Lucy and Penelope.
Mark Molder grew up in Shelbyville, Tennessee. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of Troy State University. He is married to his high school sweetheart Cindy. They have two grown sons Mark and Jake, a daughter in law Kandi, and twin grandsons, Cameron and Grant. Mark spent the past thirty years in the Recreational Vehicle (R.V.) industry. He was involved in all aspects of R.V. manufacturing, sales, and service. Mark and his wife have lived in several southern states but moved to Bartlesville in 2006 to be close to their children and grandchildren. He enjoys boating, watching University of Tennessee football and visiting new restaurants. Mark joined the staff as the Church Administrator in October 2009.
Director of Care & Recovery
After growing up in Florida and Indiana, Cindy attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where she met her husband Rod. They were married in 1979 and both attended Dallas Theological Seminary. After raising their four children, Cindy came on staff at Grace Community Church in 1999. She has served as the Children?s Ministry Director and the Director of Adult Ministries. Currently she is the Director of Care and Recovery, where she leads Celebrate Recovery, Stephen Ministry and Prayer Ministry. She also serves as the NE Oklahoma State Representative for Celebrate Recovery. In her spare time, Cindy loves being a grandmother and enjoys spending time with her weimeraner, Sadie Nan.
Adam has been married to his wife, Emily Miller for 5 years. He has a 1 year old son, Graham Miller. Adam has been working in full time youth ministry for 8 years (8 years with K-life of Bartlesville) and now currently serving as the youth pastor at Grace Community church. His passions in life include family, University of Oklahoma sports and playing anything!!
Assistant Youth Director
Danae grew up near a small town in beautiful southern Colorado. She loves being outdoors and experiencing God’s magnificent creation! Four years ago she moved to Bartlesville to attend Oklahoma Wesleyan University; where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English, in December 2011. Even though she misses the mountains and her wonderful family, she has fallen in love with Bartlesville and the people here! Summer 2011 she was blessed to be one of the Nikao youth interns, and then was asked to stay on part time staff to run the Landing. One of her biggest passions is teens and she acknowledges an incredible blessing in being a part of Grace’s youth programs!
Jake joined the Grace staff as Worship Director in November of 2009, bringing with him 12 years of musical knowledge and experience. He has a love for worship, both leading and participating. He is a current student at Oklahoma Wesleyan University pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in finance. He enjoys reading and playing music in his spare time.
Emily grew up in Concordia, KS and is the second of six children. She moved to Bartlesville in the Fall of 2008 to attend Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Emily graduated from OKWU in December of 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. She grew up in a pastor’s home, which has given her knowledge of children’s ministries/activities. In the summer of 2010, Emily had an opportunity through OKWU to participate in a church plant team in Des Moines, IA where she helped with community outreach and assisted in coordinating Vacation Bible School. It was that summer’s activities combined with her love of the Church that led Emily to consider the possibility of pursuing Children’s Ministry after graduation.
Finance and Print Media
Shelley began working at Grace in February of 2006, in the position of receptionist, having 18 years of church office experience. She moved the following year into her current position of Finance and Print Media. Married, with two grown children, Shelley and her husband, Lloyd, live in rural Bartlesville, where they enjoy living “the country life” with their two horses and a miniature schnauzer named Chester.
Guest and Member Services Coordinator
Renee has been married to Steve for almost 35 years and they have five children and four grandchildren. They have lived in Bartlesville for 11 years. Renee homeschooled their children through junior high and then began volunteering in the schools. She began her second career working for non-profits: United Way, Strategic World Impact, Bibles for China and Grace Community Church. The Lord has called her to many short term mission trips to Pakistan, Egypt, and China. Getting God’s Word to these people has been her passion. Renee is serving as Guest and Member Services Coordinator for Grace Community Church.
